I have experience dealing with a wide range of counseling areas and techniques, from talk therapy to Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and Dialectical Behavoir Therapy (DBT). I use current and up-to-date evidence based practices, and am certified in EMDR, CBT for Insomnia, CBT for Psychosis, grief counseling, and DBT. I also work with anxiety, depression, relationship, and LGBTQ+ issues.
I hold a Masters degree from Antioch University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington focused on community psychology.

I believe in helping you engage your mind, body and spirit to help you reach your greatest potential.
My approach depends on what you hope to accomplish, and what therapeutic models fit best to reach those goals. I work with clients to deconstruct negative thought patterns and behaviors and increase healthy thoughts, behaviors and attachments. I believe being authentic with each other and keeping a sense of humor about life and ourselves contribute greatly to therapeutic success.
